How much live poker can you handle? The LAPT Grand Final started in Argentina on Thursday, as did the Nova Gorica stop of the Italian Poker Tour. Completing the hat-trick run yesterday was the second leg of the PokerStars France Poker Series in Divonne-les-Bains.

A bumper field of 399 players from around the world made their way to eastern France for Day 1, with 201 of those qualifying online with PokerStars. The field at the Casino Partouche means the event is looking at a tidy €421,344 prize pool, of which €108,894 will wing its way into the wallet of the champion. In total, 48 players will be paid.

Yesterday saw Aldo Lisi from Italy finish as Day 1 chip leader with 347 000 chips, followed by Mickaël Furlan with 309 000. The average stack is 113 350.

Some 87 players will return for today's final day, rushing first towards the money, then a final table - and eventually a champion.
