The chips are flying in every direction in the high roller event at the moment as there seems to be no reduction in the aggression factor at any of the tables. Team PokerStars Pro Alexandre Gomes has just doubled up through James 'Mig.com' Mackey with [qc][qs] against [as][jh], while Vanessa Rousso lost around 20,000 doubling up the player sitting to her left with [ac][jc] against [jd][js] all-in on a [jh][10s][10c] flop. She then recovered some back making a flush in a blind vs blind battle against fellow Team PokerStars Pro Barry Greenstein.

Phil Ivey has also been at the centre of the action, first eliminating PokerStars sponsored player Lex Veidhuis with K-K vs A-K. Soon after though, he re-raised Andy Bloch's 1,700 button raise to 6,000 from the small blind and then bet out 8,000 on the [ah][7s][10h] flop. Bloch set him in and Ivey immediately mucked. At this moment, Greenstein came over to check on his friend and Ivey said miserably, "You come over and something always happens!" Ivey then lost a few more pots but in the last hand of the level managed to double up, calling all-in with [kd][10d] on a [ac][ks][6d] board and staying ahead of [5h][5s] to put him back into the fight.
Team PokerStars Pro Betrand 'ElkY' Grospieller has also been able to get an important double up, finding aces just as Johan 'Busto_Soon' Van Til found kings. ElkY is back up to about 70,000.
