It takes nearly ten minutes--literally--to walk from Table 1 to the last table in action. To make the walk, one must navigate the whole of the Amazon Room and the throngs of people in the corridor. You must skip past the Dream Team Poker booth, the Starbucks, the Sao Paulo Cafe, another Starbucks, the entire casino, and the sports book. Once you do that, you can actually see the last table in Day 2B.
This is the final day the 2009 Main Event fields will be playing on lettered flights. Once we get through today's four two-hour levels, the players will all get a day off, and then come back to play Day 3 on Friday when everybody will be in the same room for the first time.
Nearly 3,000 players will be competing in Day 2B. Among the masses will be Team PokerStars Pros Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier (127,475), Hevad Khan (97,800), Noah Boeken (94,175), Joe Hachem (84,550), J,C.
